One Year at Coastal Casa!

"Sit in reverie, and watch the changing color of the waves." -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Morning beach time at Noli Beach just a short walk from the house. There is a special hour when the beach is still in the shade before the sun rises over the cliff. It is cooler and a bit mystical as the sunlight slowly grows along the rocks and sand.
 Brain coral...such interesting, intricate patterns.
 This was a fun find. Fossils abound here along the rocky north coast. What can be surprising is the size of some of the shell fossils.
 "It's hard for me to put into words why I like the beach so much. Everything about it is renewing for me, almost like therapy, beach therapy." -Amy Dykens

 Patterns in the sand are so interesting to me. Fun to to photograph...but this one, well, this one is beautiful until I think about what made this pattern.
That is my foot print next to it. I'm told it is a snake track. That is a big snake that I hope NOT see.{{shiver}}
 This is the third shell like this that I've found at Noli. Even in its brokenness it is beautiful.
