Sunflower Patches

This lap quilt was quick, easy and fun to make. I love the colors, and the backing is a favorite of mine! I had never done a bias binding before, and the binding fabric just cried out for the bias.

A sheet of instructions helped me work through the steps.

Trying to figure out how to match the lines when making the tube was a struggle because it was late, and I was so tired. The next morning it made so much more sense.
It was fun to cut the continuous length of binding. I was just so glad that it worked!
The binding folded and pressed and ready to sew on. I love this final step of a making a quilt.

My second completed quilt for this week! I might try to get the third quilt's binding cut, sewed and whipped on.
