Gratitude Beginnings

Another new project...and I'm so excited! Yesterday I found time to begin November's Quilt for an Hour project, the Gratitude quilt. Here are my fabrics:
My fabric stash provided all the needed fabric which is great. The main print, Peasant Hill by Hoffman, is a favorite of mine. I've had it for years but never found a pattern that I wanted to use it with.

Judy's cutting directions were precise and concise=wonderful! I labeled as instructed and put everything in ziplock baggies as she suggests.
I'm amazed that this pile will actually make the quilt top. Although I've always labeled my cut pile of pieces, normal I bag everything in on gallon size ziplock bag. I really like the little individual bags. Since I'm out of quart size baggies, I did put a number of the border pieces into one larger bag. Today I look forward to grabbing bags "A" and "B" and doing the HST. My plan for today is to complete hours 1 and 2. I'd like to get caught up and then stay up to date daily.
