Quilting 4 Pleasure Webring

I have been accepted into the webring, "Quilting 4 Pleasure," and I'm so excited! Your comments and suggestions have been very encouraging and inspiring. Thank you!!

Some of you have probably noticed that I continue to play around with my blog design. I just cannot seem to find the "look" that I'm searching for. It is disappointing how much time I've spend searching blogs and templates instead of quilting. Shame on me!!

Very early this morning our son Jonathan (son #4) called from Afghanistan. He had been out of contact while away on a mission. Just knowing that he safe and sound was wonderful.

I have LOVED seeing the incredible quilts that have been made for our wounded soldiers by members of the Quilting 4 Pleasure! American Hero Quilts The quilts that my mother and mother-in-law and I have made for my sons and daughter-in-law are such cherished comfort items to them. I can only imagine what a quilt would mean to an injured soldier far from home and family.

Tomorrow my dh and I fly to NJ to spend the weekend with our son Mark who is at West Point Prep (USMAPS). I cannot wait to see him and the wonderful East Coast leaf colors!
